So what exhaust/muffler is everyone running?
Running a magnaflow. Cant remember the number
I got a 12278 waiting to go on, got some more dynoing to do first, then maggy time!
Its something like that one.
I've got the Magnaflow exhaust system. I've had it now for 2 years and absolutely love the sound of it.
I've got a custom made exhaust system made by my buddy at his exhaust shop. It has 2.5" single in to a Flowsound muffler with dual 2.5" outs over the axle, around the spare tire and straight out the back with 3" SS slant cut Magnaflow tips welded on. All joints are mig welded together and has 1/2" round stock custom hangers all the way down the system. It sounds and works good for me.

I have a 3" JBA muffler cut from the Evol series to install here hopefully by the next paycheck.
I had my exhaust changed when the truck was about a month old. I, too, had a exhaust shop buddy do mine. After throwing around ideas (and price, lol) we decided to redo the Y-pipe in stock size, just less restrictive, into the factory 2 3/4 pipe, into an 18" Magnaflow, then 3" from there to the tip, which is in factory location--only chrome and bigger. I love the sound of it, only drone I get is around 1600-1900, and it's not unbearable. I know I could get rid of that drone if I cut off about a foot of my pipe, but I don't want to lose my tip, LOL.

A set of Doug Thorley's, 22" _Magnaflow muffler and leave the rest stock. Best exhaust you'll ever own!
I also have a magnaflow exhaust.
