Ok, finally I heard back from the guy who will be installing my TransGo kit and Nitrous. I think I'm going to set it up either this or next weekend. I get my tax returns back in a couple weeks, so maybe I wil wait till then. Needless to say I am excited, I've never ran Nitrous before. I'm goign to have my progressive controller spray a 50 shot at about 2800 RPM and have it ramp up to 100 shot at 3600-3800 RPM for the track. I'm also going to use another one of my Uprev maps and have a map for a 25 shot at 2600 RPM up to 75 shot at about 3400 RPM for the street in case I see the RCSB SRT-10 that I keep seeing. We have tried to race twice (obviously right now I would lose badly), but roads haven't permitted it. Keep an eye out! Then I have to get the tuning squared away. Probably spray a 50 shot in stock map, data log it, and send it in, then go from there.

Remember when spraying on the street to try and not to spray in 4th or 5th gear because they are long gears and it puts a ton of strain on the motor. Keep it safe and have fun!

They just had a hole i them, They got repaired by our tire expert buddy LOL. Thanks for the tips on not spraying in 4th or 5th. I may just do a 50 shot for the street, I mean, it is the street with other cars and all. But their are a lot of long open roads out by where I live, and its where a lot of older guys are with their toys.....well I want to stomp their toys LOL....JK, I'm going to call him today

I will do, I don't know if any of you read toomnymods thread about his turbo build, but it looks liek it is possible that he got screwed by IPT. But he did post what needs to be bought to build up the tranny and it look slike about $1500-$1800 for a good beefed up tranny installed (buying the parts seperately), I think I will do that next year

I'm doing exhaust work this month. I'm about to start ordering my 2.25" piping & a FM 2.25"-3" Y. I'd like to do the TransGo Kit & PML pan in a couple months.

Well his tranny went out. He had the wrong Calc load values for a couple months, but tuning it on the dyno finally killed it. He bought an Overhaul kit. He went to Aamco transmission and the guy took apart his supposed IPT built tranny. The Input clutches apparently looked totally stock and made out of OEM material. They were smoked very badly, and the guy said that part was def OEM quality clutches, not high performance. Also their is no way to know whether his othe rparts got Cryo-treated or not. Oh yeah, and his torque converter, the guy looked inside of it and said he knows what they did and its really easy and could have done it for $300 instead of the IPT almost $800.

Yeah I think I am going to just buy a performance overhaul kit myself and have a shop install it. Update on the Nitrous and shift kit. I talked to Marty at KRC Performance, and I can drop my truck off on Friday of next week, he is also going to put it on the dyno, to get my fuel correct (11.5-11.8) for the Nitrous. It will be cool to see how much power I have while spraying, I hope he does 1 or 2 NA pulls too. He will also be swapping me to the 1 step colder NGK Iridium plugs I have. I can't wait, but I work Friday, so I don't know how I'm going to get my truck there. Might have to have a friend drive it there while I'm working, and its about 45 min to 1 hour away LOL

I'm guessing with my track set-up I should be low 13's. I would love high 12's, but I know KHA ran a 100 shot (and I'm 99.9% sure he sprayed off the line) on his VVT Titan and got 12.98 or something. And Toomnymods with cams ran a 125 shot to get 12.9. Witht hat said, Toomny didn't have a shift kit either, and I don't think KHA had his on yet (but I could be wrong). The math in my head makes it seems like a 12 is possible. 13.5 with the shift kit, and the rest with the Nitrous. We will see, I may have to try the short belt mod as well to get a 12

i doubt ull get 13.5's with a shift kit.... i only dropped half a tenth LOL i sprayed the 100 shot out of the hole on accident THATS A HUGE MISTAKE. (can backfire and blow ur intake into the next state lol) i spun my ass off ON SLICKS and i let go then mashed it again and i was gone :D it would have been easily a 12.8-7 run if i didnt spin :(

I would have been 13.6 without the shift kit if I would have taken my spare and tools out of the back of my truck on my 13.73 run. I'm disappointed to hear you only dropped .05 with the shift kit, our trucks seem like they take 1 second to shift from the factory. They shift so slow, if feels like their is a lot of room for improvement with the shift kit, but I guess not. I won't be spraying off the line either, I will be having a 50 shot hit at 2800 RPM, then have it ramp up to 100 shot at 3500 RPM. But i can program the switch however I want it. Maybe for one run I'll just have the 100 shot come on all at once at say 2600 RPM just so see what it will do

100 shot will feel way way better than a 50 shot.u wont even feel a 50 shot if u put it on itll just waste nitrous lol

Well, I was just going to have a 50 shot hit at 2800 RPM, then it will progress to 100 shot at 3500 RPM...does that sound nice? In the process of tinting my tail right now. Already got them VHTed, not just letting them sit before I wet sand and clear coat them. Its super easy, I think I just went to dark

You'll definitely be low 13"! I just started gathering for my custom Bank's project. I ordered a Flowmast Y-Pipe. I'm still shopping for some flanges & 304SS piping. I know i need (2) 90* bend's, i got to figure out what bend's i need for the right side.

What kind of metal are those, mild steel? I need 304 stainlees steel.

I remember someone on CT posted some link's for some 304SS piping. I'll probably just order from there.

Yeah Titanss is always posting about the exhaust piping, and he is the one who posted this (04Titanss)....My taillights are almost done. I did them a little too dark. They aren't black, but pretty close. I put a coat over the reverse lights too. They are lighter then the rest, but now I wish I would have just left them alone. I think putting a coat on them (reverse lense) is a good thing to do and would look sick if done right, but I fucked them up a little bit, because I got them too dark, then had to re-sand them down, but if didn't come out 100% even. They still look great though overall, and will be very niceonce I black out the rest of the stuff on my truck. I'm goign to do the 3rd brake light tonight. Its very easy, just takes time letting the paint dry and all

i dont know if this would apply with only 350-400hp at the crank or not. but it is a subject i have never read into.

Watch out for Geico I switched to them when I bought the titan and saved a TON the next year they jacked my rates up 60 bucks a month.

All of our vehicles. 2006 Titan, 2009 Maxima, 2006 F150, 2001 F150, not sure if that includes our boat and sea-doos, but i image it does.

I'm the most expensive because I haven't been driving for 3 years yet. I just got them a discount since I am in college full time with a 3.7 GPA, and when I turn 19 in June, it goes down significantly.

Well, shift kit is on, I believe its worth about .2 or maybe more. My Nitrous install was today, but we didn't finish. We have to change out my plugs and wire in my progressive controller and a couple other wires. All the plumbing is done and my bottle is full. I've decided to have my Nitrous come in at 3500 RPM with a 50 shot, and at 4200 it will hit 75 (100 next winter). I forgot after the shifts it only drops down to 4000 RPM, So basically 2nd and third gear will be all Nitrous. I'll do some NOS data-logging in my stock map tomorrow.

Got Nitro installed today LOL. We couldn't finish installing the WOT progressive switch until I get one more part, so I activated the kit at 3000 RPM, only a 40 shot. But being I don't have a bottle heater yet, the PSI was way to low in my bottle (less then 600), so I didn't even feel it. Plus one of my Cruise Control buttons is stuck, so I can't change maps, therefore I can't get to my Stock map, so I can't spray anything above 50 until I can get to my stock map. I need to get there though so I can datalog for a larger shot


Yeah KHA, I won't be spraying off the line LOL

They pissed me off. I tried to contact Robert on MT and I sent them a PM on CT, and they couldn't even acknowledge me or answer me. But, I do want to get on a dyno, if we can get the boys to go, I'm down too

My installer said that if I was only spraying fuel then my motor would have shut down? I know it sprays fuel, because it was leaking a tiny bit before I tightened it. I think its either the NOS selenoid or maybe I'm not hooked up to the right wire on the gas pedal, although Thrust Titan is the one who told me to hook it to the wire that we did. I'm so sick of messing with this kit. I changed out the sprak plugs today with the help of themaildude...easiest thing I've ever done. I just want this stupid Nitrous to work right...I was also in my stock tune, since I haven't gotten a chance to load my Nitrous tune yet...so annoying

easiest way to get it to work is getting rid of the window switch :D and no ur truck wont shut off if u spray fuel while @ WOT. trust me ive done it and i still ran a 9.1 in the 8th lol but when i let off the gas she died on me LOL

Well, I did let off because it was in manual mode, and I forgot to shift, so I let off and it didn't shut down...Did it twice. My window switch is not hooked up yet. I have an activation switch that will turn on the Nitrous at WOT whenever I turn it on. I just went WOT then at 3000 I flipped on the switch. I might sell the progressive window switch and have a push button. But I really like the idea of the progressive switch, so that I can have it kick in at only a 50 shot, then progress up to 100 shot so that if I hit it on the street, I don't roast the tires. I think it may have something to do with the wiring. When it sprayed and we saw it leak, was when I was in park and we had the hood up. We activated the switch but we had forgot to plug back in the accelerator plug. When that plug is out, it read WOT and sprayed in his parking lot (flooding the engine). So we know the fuel is coming out....I like the window switch, cause I don't have to think or do anything, but we will see, I just want to spray...I'm meeting the installer again tomorrow

No worries bro I'm sure Randy will get it all figured out and done CORRECTLY. Last thing you want is for it to be a rushed install and God forbid, something go wrong down the track.

I bet its not spraying. Maybe its not reading WOT and we have the wrong wiring. Yeah he will look at it, but again I have to go somewhere around noon, so it might not get finished. If not, I will take the lines off myself and hold the throttle down and see if it sprays nitrous and fuel out onto a towel. I wonder if I could do it in park

Its my Nitrous solenoid. We got my controller and tack adaptor wired in, I got the bottle PSI up to about 900 and opened the bottle. The Nitrous solenoid was spraying out Nitrous. I might could re-build it, but I'm just going to buy a new one today...Found the problem!

Nitrous sucks, I hate it, I can't get anything to work. I got my solenoid tonight, installed it, then went for a test drive and nothing. i have to play with the controller some more....Starting to become "over" messing with this shit. I'm going to try some different programs at the track Sunday, and talk to RBs Titan on Saturday. If its not working by the end of the weekend, I'll sell the shit


And before you say it KHA, I'm not taking the controller off LOL, its either the controller and system works, or its all getting sold LOL

Well now the only problem is, it doesn't seem to hit hard enough. My bottle PSI is always between 700-850, but at 60 HP 70 hp and 90hp hits, my tires were no where near spinning. Oh well, headed to the track today
