There are 2 forward bolts (14mm) and 4 aft bolts (14mm) holding the box to the bed.

Remove the 2 forward bolts first.

Remove the 4 aft bolts.

There are 3 white retaining tabs holding the box to the bed now. 2 Tabs on top of the box and 1 tab on the aft side of the box. Using needle nose pliers pinch the tabs and push outward. Hold the box as it will drop if you dont. The box weighs around 15 lbs.

The Tabs.

To reinstall the box line up the white tabs with the holes and push in. Then install the 6 bolts loosely and check for proper alignment of box. You may want to have someone push on the box while you tighten the bolts down so the box will stay properly aligned.

The holes for Tabs...

thanks for sharing it with us.. but is anybody here have any ideas on how or what to use for fastners for an aluminum cross bed pickup truck tool boxes (http://www.jcwhitney.com/tool-boxes-and-carts/c21147j1s17.jcwx). I often times want to remove the box from the bed for more cargo room. That way i could remove it without any tools. Anybody here ever did anything like this? or its just have the same removal?
