Ok, did some VHT and clear coating on Sunday. Turned out good IMO. I wish the reverse lenses were a nip lighter, but its cool. The pics make them look slightly darker then they do in person, but here they are.

Well, my reverse lense is the only part that could be a little lighter IMO, but, I still get plenty of light reversing. I would say that it was about 4 coats of VHT and 3 coats of clear. The 3rd brake light is only 1 coat of VHT and no clear, but I am still going to touch it up. Thanks guys!

Looks good man. I really like tinted taillights on the T now. What other plans do you have?

Probably remove the chrome "U" from the tailgate and the Nismo sticker. Then I need to rder the front adjustable struts from Belltech so I can lower it. Maybe paint the wheels darker. My performance parts will be on this weekend. Then some shorter tires for the OEM 20's. Oh and some black headlight housing

Thanks man, yeah thats a great idea actually. I finally got to see them in ful daylight yesterday I think. Got home from work early and the sun was hitting them. looks awesome, in the sun light, you can see through it and see a dark amber fro the light. Its very translucent. Looks almost black at night and dark amber/maroon in daytime. I think it is my favorite visual mod I have done so far.

Hey 08Blizzard, what headlights are those? OEM with headlight mod or did oyu buy them? I am wanting to buy some that look like that, looks like they are going to run about $160

Here here, although I think that going tinted would actually look great on a truck. I myself had considered getting tinted tail lights but when I installed them, they made the LED look so dim, you wouldn't think you had LEDs on there. So I ended up returning the LEDs and got some old fashioned bulbs instead.

Old thread but worth complimenting. I like the style, didn't know you could paint tail lights. This particular look goes well with the clean white rig. Nice.

To be honest it looked nice, but be careful for some states are prohibiting such alteration.
