Hopefully the set up works out for you.
One thing I heard though about the Magnaflow Y was that the air would create a vortex or swirling and get stuck in the open space of the Y. That's why people went with the Flowmaster Y due to the divider.

i can always mess with it and get it to flow straightbut then again its gonna be 3 inch all the way out so im pretty sure itll flow good
