I've had UpRev before.
With UpRev on my otherwise stock Titan, I didn't see much difference except for flooring it off the line. It would make for an impressive and expensive tire smoking show, but otherwise pointless.
Since I don't have tru-trac, my launches are always part throttle. With part throttle and transitioning to full throttle at 20mph, I still had that annoying burst of power at 40mph thing, so what was the point of keeping UpRev?
The only thing I know of that improves part throttle response and eliminates part throttle "turbo kicking in at 40" is the PGM. I had my chance to install the PGM, but economics forced me to sell it before I even tried it out.
right there with you.. i had the money set back twice for a pgm. and both times i had a chance to get one, i had spent my cash pot on something else
